IMPORTANT NOTE: with effect from 10 July 2025 all our cages will be sent out with black plastic bases.  White bases are no longer supplied as standard with white nets.  We do however have a few white bases remaining in stock.  If you would prefer a white base please contact us before making your purchase and we will check if we have one available.
 
Our rectangular cages are particularly elegant for insect display, with gently rounded corners to avoid insects being trapped.  Place them on a table or bench-top indoors, outdoors, or in the laboratory or greenhouse. 
 
These versatile cages have a semi-rigid easy-to-clean plastic base, a wire frame, and a separate nylon cover with large zipped easy access for attending to insects, changing plants, and cleaning.  Easy to assemble and disassemble, and stores flat when not in use.  A spare net for these cages can also be purchased without the frame and base.
 
Each rectangular cage ("Frame included" option) comes with:
1 x black plastic base
1 x set of frame legs with connectors 
1 x top frame
1 x net cover with elasticated bottom hem
 
Small: 29.5cm (11.5") wide, 23.5cm (9.5'') deep, and 33cm (13'') tall
Medium:  45cm (17.5") wide, 36cm (14'') deep, and 48cm (19'') tall
Large: 59cm (23'') wide, 47cm (18.5'') deep, and 63cm (25'') tall
 
If you just want the net cover, or are buying a replacement net for an existing frame, make sure you have selected the “Net only” option.  Please note that the size of our large table cages changed in 2019/2020.  Contact us for information if you are looking for a replacement cover for the old-size cage.
